Drum Roll

Research by George Barna suggests that children 12 and under have a 32% probability of embracing Jesus Christ as Lord & Savior.  Those chances drop to 6% for those ages 19 and older.  It is vital that we do all we can to help our young people know Jesus Christ and grow in their relationship with Him while they are young (Proverbs 22:6).  I also believe that our youth can play a powerful role in the kingdom of God, not just as the church of tomorrow, but as a vital part of the church today while they are still young (I Timothy 4:12).

Young people matter at Midway Christian Church.  We have great youth and children’s programs with excellent, willing and able volunteers.  We want young people to see our church as a safe, fun, and loving place which they enjoy and look forward to coming.
